Did You Know?

Scott Land & Lease offer’s a wide range of Environmental Services for all your project needs.

Environmental Site Assessment

Typically, the first step in the environmental planning process for a new project.  Its main purpose is to help the project planning team understand the ensuing environmental impacts and available mitigation measures for consideration in the project design and operations. It is also an important tool used by regulators to assess whether proper due diligence has been applied with respect to environmental risk management. Most new construction projects in Alberta require some type of an environmental assessment as a condition of government approval.

He is focused on the sample, with a background of the calm water and a distant treeline under a clear blue sky. The scene depicts a field worker conducting environmental testing or water quality assessment.

Wetland Assessment

Having a wetland assessment completed helps you in the planning phase to avoid setbacks to your project such as financial penalties for non-adherence to the Water Act.

Experts are available to identify the ecological boundaries of water bodies and watercourses, determine the potential impacts that may be caused by the proposed project and provide reasonable mitigations to reduce negative environmental affects.

Wildlife Assessments

Any project where alteration or change to the natural environment is likely to take place has the potential to impact, wildlife and wildlife habitat.

We’re here to help you understand the potential risks and mitigative requirements in relation to any given project, where thorough assessment is first required.

Air Quality Services

Projects requiring air quality and environmental noise consulting services need a consultant that understands the project, facility, emissions sources and how to navigate the regulatory environment.

Environmental Management & Planning

An environmental management plan provides an organized and formal approach to managing environmental issues within an organization. More importantly, a management plan is an important tool to improve compliance, prevent pollution, reduce risks, and improve cost-effective allocation of resources.

Risk Management & Assessment

Our risk-based approaches to site management have been accepted by regulators throughout western and northern Canada and have often resulted in substantial cost savings compared with traditional methods of contaminant removal.
